Orientation and Making your Transition

The office has felt like being in a whirlwind these past couple of weeks. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes when just one person isn’t in the office! While Kathy was attending her Institute, Nancy, Jen, and I were busy preparing the Orientation packets. This is no easy feat as it encompasses many departments on campus, which means lots of “interdepartmental cooperation.” 🙂

Per the norm, everything came together perfectly and packets were mailed out. You should be receiving yours soon if you haven’t already!

Life in the office is starting to settle and now we can focus on helping students make the transition to Vermont.

I’ve been getting a lot of calls from students asking if there is anything else needed before fall. The Orientation packet will answer many of those questions and always check the Admitted Students page on the website for important dates on the calendar and any other information (laptop program, housing, insurance) you should be aware of before matriculation.

A common question is about final transcripts. We need your undergraduate transcript from your degree granting institution mailed directly to the Admissions Office. The one you sent to LSAC does not count.

You were mailed a Local Services Directory in your packet to help you set up your services (cable, internet, etc.).

As always, we are just a phone call or email away if you need us!
