Our Winter Wonderland

As much of the nation seems to have experienced some severe weather over these past few weeks, Vermont is no exception. We have closed early twice and opened late, which is almost unheard of. Of course, it doesn’t count for us in Admissions as we can read files from home if need be! I prefer to ride the bus in early and have a couple hours of quiet time before the phone rings and email messages come in.

We have been reading, reading, and reading files! The quality of the applications are promising and by this time I am usually harping on applicants that ignore our essay questions and just attach a generic personal statement. To my surprise, there have been very few, and the attention to detail (in the application forms and essays) have been excellent. We notice this and appreciate the time you put into our application.

I have been getting a lot of emails and calls about status. We are a bit behind our typical 2-4 week schedule but we hope to be caught up by the end of the week. Just sit tight!

Here are some winter pictures taken yesterday!
