Mid-May on campus

Last Friday was the close of spring semester exams and commencement is this coming Saturday.  So, this is a quiet week on campus – busily preparing for a huge event.  During the week, the graduating students have a dinner cruise on Lake Champlain, various receptions and parties – all celebrating the culmination of much hard work and dedication.

This is turning out to be one of the rainiest springs in Vermont history.  Lake Champlain is 3 feet above flood level, lots of flooding to our north.  Since the lake flows north into Quebec, our Canadian neighbors are on the receiving end.

At the same time, all of the rain has hastened the growth and blooming of Vermont’s green landscape.  Now we can finally remember again why we are known as the Green Mountain State!

Admissions has lots of campus visitors, admits who are making their final law school enrollment decisions.  Welcome to VLS ~
